Mr. & Mrs. Elmore

Where do I begin?? I first met Lauren at a Starbucks… and instantly fell in love with her sweet personality.  Unlike my usual couples, I met Luke for the first time at their wedding.  Luckily for me, he was super fun and easy to get along with and most importantly so in love with his beautiful bride.  They had originally planned a wedding in November, but things happened and they moved it up.  Two weeks before their wedding, Lauren’s mom, Vickie, passed away.  Needless to say, I didn’t have words.  Having lost my dad a long time ago I just knew that she must be devastated to not have her mom physically at her wedding.  They decided as a couple to go ahead with the wedding, which is what her mom wanted.  Y’all… I have never prayed more in my life.  I prayed for Lauren, that she would have strength. For Luke, that he would have patience. For her family, that they would be at peace.  And I even prayed for me (and my amazing second shooter – Ashley Smith) – and for all of the vendors involved… that we could lift her up.  But, she didn’t need any of that.  She was the perfect bride and he was the perfect groom and I’m just swooning over their images.

Her mom was definitely there… and Lauren and Luke got married in the most beautiful setting.  They even had a board with all of their vendors listed thanking them.  I mean for real?? How sweet is that? I am so glad I got to be a part of their day and got to witness their contagious energy!!! She arrived by pontoon to a dock where she met her dad and walked down the aisle.  Enjoy some highlights!!!
